For a number of years, Vanderbilt Medical Center has used the tagline, “The Promise of Discovery” to support messages about the important work they do for the advancement of medicine. Those messages tended to focus on doctors, research or the rare diseases they cure. We were asked to create new television spots that would help make their work more relatable to the average person. These spots re-frame the tagline so that it focuses on the promise rather than the discovery.
